Tax & Custom Duty

Goods that are imported and would have been treated as GST free if the total value of the package does not exceed $1,000 AUD.
In case the value of the goods is higher than $1,000 AUD, there is a chance that they will be subject to an additional tax & custom duty of approximately 15% (5% duty and 10% GST). The assessment of these taxes and handling fees will be at the discretion of the destination customs officials.
