Department staff will lead you through the tests you must pass to be licensed, and you can request English language tests. You’ll also be required to complete a short road test.
For non-drivers, every major city has a public transit system consisting of taxis, moto-taxis, songthaews, tuk-tuks, and rail systems. Public buses and trains travel between Thailand’s cities and towns. It can be a great way to see the country.
